Basic cookies

The data controller

The data controller of the personal information is VF Automation Trade and Engineering Ltd. Our company handles as little personal data as we can, when provided with explicit consent, when it is necessary to provide our services to you, or when it is required of us by law. About cookies

The cookie is small text file, stored on your device used to visit our webpage (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.), accessible to our website on a later visit. We only use cookies with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw on this page at any time, or for security purposes. We use a so-called 'session' cookie to prevent the use of malicious exploits. This session cookie is not persistent, it is deleted after your session ends (the web browser is closed). Quotation request, contract

If you contact VF Automation Ltd. to inquire about our products, request a quotation or any of our services, then any data provided to us by you (such as name, company, e-mail address, phone number, billing address, delivery location) is handled and stored only to fulfill your request, inquiry or contract. If you entered into a contract with our company, we further store the information in the contract in order to comply with the law. We may also provide this information to third parties, when it is necessary fulfill our contractual obligations to you (such as providing the delivery location to the shipment company). If, after contacting us, you have decided not to enter into a contract with our company, then any data provided to us will be stored for no longer than a year, with the option of having it deleted or amended at any time you request it at any of our contacts. The legal basis of the handling of personal data is the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), Chapter 2, Article 6(b).

Feedback

We offer our clients the chance to rate our services on the feedback page. The personal information you give us on this page, like name, e-mail address, product, remarks and rating, are used exclusively to further improve our services. The legal basis of the handling of personal data is the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), Chapter 2, Article 6(a) (explicit consent). If you wish to have any of your personal information amended or deleted, you can request that at any of our contacts.

Google reCAPTCHA

The Google reCAPTCHA service uses personal information in order to filter out spam messages from the webmail and feedback services on our webpage. The information collected and cookies saved by reCAPTCHA is processed by Google in order to provide this service. You can review Google's Privacy Policy by clicking this link. Hotjar

We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize our service and your experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices (in particular device's IP address (captured and stored only in anonymized form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), preferred language used to display our website). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymized user profile. Neither Hotjar nor we will ever use this information to identify individual users or to match it with further data on an individual user.
