Adsorption dryers can reduce moisture content of compressed air without cooling. Compressed air passes through an activated alumina filling, which adsorbs water vapour due to its enhanced surface area. To prevent the filling from becoming fully saturated, the dryer consists of two, alternately operated columns. While the drying procedure occurs in one column, the other one is regenerating - by feeding back a small amount of dry air to blow out the moisture. With this construction even -40°C or - 70°C pressure dew point can be achieved. VF Automation Ltd. offers Parker domnick hunter cold regeneration adsorption dryers categorized in 3 product groups by their drying capacity. We also offer models with heated or vacuum supported regeneration procedure for reducing compressed air consumption.
