Contactless switches

Contactless safety switches do not require a conductive, mechanical connection to break or make a circuit. They are well-suited for applications where the precise placement of safety switches is difficult, and higher tolerances are required.

Due to the lack of mechanical, moving parts, they require low maintenance, and are resistent to vibration and shock. By desing, they are generally made of two parts, a sensor and an actuator. The sensing distance is 7-12mm (depending on exact model).
